Below you will find numbers that are accurate as of today, February 26, 2026. These numbers could increase anytime. Most venues in the state of Kentucky require either a “caterer with a liquor license” or a “STAR Certified Bartender.” There is no such thing in the state of Kentucky as a “license bartender.”
There are two quotes from caterers with liquor licenses, Type A Catering and Bayou Bluegrass Catering as well as a quote from Til Death Weddings and Events that provides STAR Certified Bartenders. Most couples choose to have one or two signature drinks, that price is not included here. Reach out to each business for a custom quote for your wedding or event.
