Drew and Kristen’s wedding took place on a beautiful September day at Drew’s family farm in Lexington, Kentucky. Kristen wore a beautiful blush tinted dress. The top of the dress was filled with lace and the bottom was long and flowy. The perfect dress to twirl in! Her girls were dressed in wine colored dresses and their bouquets were filled with an assortment of beautiful flowers from sunflowers to lilies. Drew and his groomsmen looked dapper in their gray suits and wine bowties and vests. Their outdoor ceremony was absolutely breathtaking! Their family and friends built them a large frame of a church made out of old barn wood decorated with a chandelier and steeple. The aisle was filled with glass jars and flowers with white French doors stood in the back making for a perfect entrance. It was the most romantic ceremony backdrop! Their reception followed in a large white tent. The tables were dressed in wine colored tablecloths and lit with old glass lanterns. Mismatched pieces of beautiful china decorated the tables. It was a magical day filled with so much laughter and love.

Kristen and Drew met while Kristen was visiting a friend on spring break at Murray State. That night her friend was going to a fraternity dance with her boyfriend. Kristen said that the only way she would go was if her friend’s boyfriend could find her a date. Drew ended up being her date for the dance and they had a wonderful evening together. After her visit, Kristen went back to Morehead for school. That summer after school Drew texted Kristen to see if she wanted to go out for dinner. Their first date was at a Chinese restaurant and afterward, they climbed up on his roof to stargaze. After their first date, they continued to talk every day. A special place to both of them is the Bernheim Forest in Clermont, KY. On a snowy day, Drew took her to their favorite spot under a canopy of trees. It was there that Drew asked Kristen to marry him!

We feel so honored to have been able to capture Drew and Kristen’s special day. From the moment we met them both we could see just how in love they are. They are both such kind and genuine people and we have loved getting to know them. We wish them many years of love, happiness, and adventure.
