Gorgeous Wedding at the Barn at Springhouse Gardens in Nicholasville, Kentucky

Liz and Neal’s wedding was at the gorgeous Barn at Springhouse Gardens in Nicholasville, Kentucky. They are such a sweet and thoughtful couple and we could not have been more honored that they chose us to capture their special day. Liz and Neal have such an endearing love for each other. They are also very caring and graceful people and we were so happy to have been able to get to know them both better.

Liz and Neal met at a house party put on by mutual friends. Their first hangout went so well that they had their first date two days later at a local restaurant. Neal proposed to Liz while they were ice skating at the downtown outdoor ice rink in Lexington, Kentucky. The weather on the wedding day was absolutely fantastic. Liz and Neal decided to follow the southern tradition of burying a bottle of bourbon in hopes for good weather on the wedding day. This tradition must really work because this was the second wedding in September that followed this tradition and had amazing weather. Liz got ready at the unique and stunning 21c Museum Hotel in downtown Lexington, Kentucky. Their ceremony took place in a garden surrounded by all of their family and friends. Liz and Neal’s reception followed at the stunning, rustic and charming Barn at Springhouse Gardens. They had a breathtaking clear tent with draped lights which made you feel as if you were in a fairy tale.
