Mariah and Andy! I almost broke this one into two separate blogs because of how many photographs I wanted to share. The story is every bit as beautiful as anything I could shoot. Mariah wearing her mother’s wedding dress…which was also her grandmother’s wedding dress…which she also wore as she was married in this exact same location. She walked down the same stairs, stood in the same places, and did many of the same things.
That’s probably why we referred to this one as “the fairytale wedding” when we talked about it around the house.
At some point I’ll get my hands on some of the shots we recreated in the moment to match what her grandmother had done, but until then we can enjoy some of my favorites of our day at Whitehall in Louisville, KY. I’m not even going to pretend by saying “a few” because there’s A LOT.
