Last week was my final day as an intern for the semester (insert a super sad face here). Boy, has this been one heck of a few months at Simply Love Studio. We will get to the sappy stuff in just a minute. Let’s talk about my last day adventures.
When deciding where to eat for our last day, Sarah talked about Cheesecake Factory or Malones. However, that was until I mentioned I had never been to Waffle House. There was no longer an option after that. So I got to experience my first trip to the Waffle House as a celebratory lunch. Needless to say, i love the waffles (no pun intended). Next we got to go on a surprise, super fun photo shoot with Kristen Burtch! She is seriously so fun and too much fun to work with. We laughed, made other people stare, and got some awesome pictures out of it! It was a great last day without a doubt. Here is the link for those who want to see them!

Now, here is the sappy talk that I promised. I have learned so much from being at the Studio. I never imagined that I would gain the knowledge and experience that I have throughout the course of the semester. From meeting with brides to working different kinds of events to meeting all kinds of vendors, I have taken in so much that will help me with my desire to be in the wedding business. To my dearest Sarah, thank you for taking the time and effort to show me everything you did. There are few people who would take in someone as inexperienced as me and teach me so much. I appreciate everything you have done for me and will never be able to repay you for all you’ve done. To the vendors who took the time to show me their specific tricks and talents, you all are also appreciated more than you know. I am forever thankful for the time I had with the studio and will miss sharing it with you all. Who knows, maybe I’ll get to make a special appearance next semester but as a bride instead of an intern. Thank you to anyone who has taken the time to read this throughout my time at the studio!
