Halloween is FAST approaching and many families are getting in the spirit by buying candy for trick or treat, decorating their homes and picking out matching costumes. What fun would Halloween be at Simply Love Studio if “The Traveling LOVE Cup” didn’t join in on the fun?  ”The Traveling LOVE Cup and I went to visit the “Bewitched” horse designed by Holly VanMeter located in downtown Lexington. What a photo opportunity it turned out to be. ENJOY and HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

We have some exciting news…Lauren Chitwood Events announces it’s floral and event design boutique, Love & Camellia!!

The entire team at Lauren Chitwood Events feels so blessed for the growth and success of our floral and event design business! To accommodate our many weddings and events, we need some help! We are looking for a part-time floral design assistant to help our lead floral designer Samantha. The work days are usually Wednesday to Saturday, and the hours are slightly sporadic depending upon to the season. Floral design experience would be helpful, as you have to be a quick mover! Weekends are a must around here, but you are guaranteed to have a great time! We would love to hear from you if you are interested! Wedding gowns are becoming more and more practical! I am a very practical girl myself so when I came across this awesome idea, I fell in love with it!  I actually came upon this new trend by accident.  When trying on gowns for my June wedding , I stumbled upon a dress that I absolutley adored. It wasnt until I put it on that I realized the pockets were there! The ease and conveniece of the pockets was so helpful on my wedding day. Pockets are such a neat idea for brides because it offers them the ability to carry necessities with them for those last minute touch ups.  Included below is a list of items to be stowed away in those nifty pockets for emergencies on your big day, along with some pictures of my personal favorite pocket gowns. I had the pleasure last week to attend an Open House at Camargo Rental in Cincinnati, OH. The rentals they have to offer brides are phenomenal from the glass tents and clear dance floors to the exquisite linens and luxury bathroom trailer. Anything you can imagine or dream up… Camargo has to offer. They even have an in-house florist available whose work was absolutely gorgeous. The staff was a joy to talk to and I believe that any bride would feel welcome walking into the showroom. If you are looking for something different and unique this is definitely the place to go!
