Last week I had the opportunity to meet with Tracie at Tinker’s. It was a great experience. When I went in the shop for the first time, I was absolutely blown away by the beautiful display of cakes. On this day in history, we will always remember it as the legal birthday of Lauren Chitwood Events. Like every birth, conception and planning started long before but today we are eating cake in honor of a birthday.

As time passes it feels like decades some moments and just a few weeks the next, it’s crazy how that works huh?

I often gush over my clients and say how cute and fun they are, and obviously how cool their wedding or special event is going to be, but today I’d like to use this platform to give each of my clients a sincere thank you. Thank you for seeing our service and our creativity as beautiful and valuable. The time we take and the inspiration we find in our designs comes from our relationships with you. Each of you inspire me, with your style and beauty or sense of humor. There is nothing more intimate than knowing the essence of two people, and I feel so lucky to be creating visual events and invoking emotions in your guests, that so closely represent you. We could not do this if you weren’t so generous and giving of yourselves, and by letting me and my team truly know you, we are successful.
