There were two awesome bridal shows today in Lexington and another one next Sunday that we’ll be participating in. We love bridal shows for a lot of reasons. Brides get to see many different ideas, taste many different types of food, talk with many professional vendors and get many different types of advertising/marketing material. The key word in each of those phrases was “many” – that’s what Simply Love Studio is here to help you with. We can help you break down the ideas that you saw, break down the cost assorted with different linens or short centerpieces versus tall centerpieces. We can prepare you for your meeting(s) with caterers, about what to look for, difference in a plated meal versus a buffet and talk about what all is associated with pricing when it comes to food. We can also help you sort through the different vendors you saw today based on their pricing/style/personality and can even help check to see if they are available on your wedding day.
What we do at Simply Love Studio is work with Brides individually about what you’ve done so far, where you’re at in the planning and help you pull all of your ideas together! Best of all, our planning services are free to you. Be sure and give Sarah a call to set up your appointment to talk about everything you saw and learned about at today’s bridal shows at 859.317.9023!

This week has been a busy one at the studio!! Not only have we been getting ready for the Diamond Rings and Pretty Things Bridal Show this Sunday but Simply Love Studio held its first night of the Bridal Benchmark Series yesterday! For those of you who couldn’t make it out, there are still five more weeks left! We had an amazing turn out of beautiful brides and three wonderful vendor presentations including AP Luxury Travel!! While we were recovering from the sugar coma that Tinker’s Cake’s put us in, we started really kicking Bridal Show preparations into high gear! Burlap is cut, frames are painted and ready, gorgeous, luxurious linens are ready to be laid out and the girls of Always Planned are so excited to get to meet with you and share our love of weddings! The Bridal Show will take place at Embassy Suites off of Newtown Pike from 11am-5pm. There is NO admission charge for anyone!! We would love to see everyone out there and get to spend time some time visiting with you all! We (the interns!!) are just so excited for our first Bridal Show! Come out and stop by the booth to say hello and see yet another inspired design by Rayna and Mallory! Hope to see you all there!
Happy Planning!

I love a good party. Between family life and work, my opportunities to be out-and-about after 6PM are pretty scarce. Getting to be at the Grand Opening of Simply Love Studio was a hoot. If you haven’t checked out their site yet, you might head over HERE to see what the buzz is all about. Simply Love Studio is THE place to visit for all things wedding related.
The night of the Grand Opening, I brought my gear and provided a ”Pink Carpet” photo-op for those in attendance. I got to meet alot of new folks and catch up with other wedding vendors. It was a GREAT night.
Here’s what I contributed to the Swag Bags given out by SLS to the first 100 people. I’m always meeting folks for coffee, so it seemed fitting that I send home some java-themed goodness. Many thanks to my incredible assistant Candi who packaged all 100 of these.

This was the scene at the corner of Broadway and Main Street in the heart of Lexington. Location, location, location, eh? And by the way? So many people are outside because it was shoulder to shoulder inside. Crazy how many people came out. That certainly bodes well for the success of this company. Rayna, you rock!

The highlight of the evening for me was finally meeting up with Angela Anderson and the talented AAP crew (yo, Lucy!). We’ve both done a lot of work in the Kentucky market, but had yet to connect. Angela, you’re an amazing photographer and an inspiring business owner. I’m glad you’re involved with Simply Love, and I’ll look forward to staying in touch!

A shot of my brother Jay being awesome. You can check out his website HERE. He’s an excellent dj, and he’s one of the preferred vendors at Simply Love. I love that he’s working in the wedding industry, too.

And a few more shots from inside. Sorry there aren’t more! I was having too much fun socializing! LOL

The after-party…Who knew?
