Journeys begin … where the blacktop ends! Down a one lane road lies a picturesque new Venue where the beauty of country and simple elegance converge to create the perfect backdrop for a Special Occasion. Sunset Ridge Farm is now home to a Premier Wedding/Event Venue & Wilderness Lodge in Wellington, Ky, between the Red River Gorge and Cave Run Lake, surrounded by the Daniel Boone National Forest.

Where Indians once called home, surrounded by cliffs, and resting on top of a ridge, lends many Sites for a memorable event, including a Historical Barn, 2 Ponds with decks, Forest, Cliffs, Meadows, and even a Vintage Open Air Chapel is under construction. Our new Venue hosts Weddings, Vow Renewals, Events, Reunions, Retreats, Corporate Occasions, and beyond.

Lodging in our authentic log home, is included in the package price, along with the 50 secluded acres, Friday through Sunday, which has 5 bedrooms and 1 loft, and will sleep 18, all in new beds, and for the rest of the folks, there are cabins and cottages nearby that can be rented, which keeps everyone in close proximity, giving everyone the experience of a Kentucky hideout.

We can accommodate up to 250 on most sites, and also host small intimate occasions inside the great room, while music is played on the baby grand piano. Our Venue is yours for three days for a weekend celebration!
