Sunday is Bridal Bliss Classic!! It’s Lexington’s largest bridal show! It’s at Hilton Lexington/Downtown from 11 – 4. Come hungry. Bring a fully charged phone so you can take pictures. I know it’ll be super cold, but try not to wear tons of coats and scarves inside because it’ll be warm with all of the people. We’ll be in the Magnolia Ballroom on the first floor, stop by and say hi!! Pre-register for the show now by clicking here!
Fall Engagement Session in Downtown Maysville, Kentucky
Brandy and David’s engagement session was in the historic and charming downtown of Maysville, Kentucky. We have been friends with David ever since we met at a climbing gym called Bluegrass Bouldering in downtown Lexington, KY many years ago. So when David asked us to capture their wedding day we were so excited. We met them at an old historic house called Phillip’s Folly where they will be getting married at next summer. David is originally from Maysville and together he and Brandy knew that the house would be the perfect place for their wedding. The beautiful house is owned by a friend of David’s and is filled with all kinds of romantic antiques. After taking some photos around the house we visited the riverfront where a large bridge runs straight into downtown. It was the perfect place to celebrate Brandy and David’s engagement. After the river, we explored the rest of downtown Maysville with its cute homes, theater, and other historic buildings. We can’t wait to celebrate their special day in one of the cutest towns in Kentucky next summer! Brandy and David met while they were in college. Brandy was lifeguarding at the pool during Greek week for an event […]
Christmas Themed Wedding at The Signature Club of Lansdowne in Lexington, Kentucky
Ben and Taylor’s Christmas themed wedding was on a cold December day at the Signature Club of Lansdowne in Lexington, Kentucky. Taylor wore a beautiful lace dress and cathedral veil that was handmade by Ben’s stepmother. Her girls wore long green bridesmaid dresses. Their bouquets were filled with calla lilies and roses. Ben looked dapper in his classic black tux and gold bowtie. Their ceremony and reception took place in the grand ballroom at the Signature Club. They were married in front of a beautifully decorated Christmas tree surrounded by their family and friends. The tables at their reception were filled with silver bells and candles. It was a romantic night filled with sparkle, romantic Christmas lights, and of course dancing. On the day that Ben closed on their new house, he told Taylor to dress up so that they could go out and celebrate. Ben met Taylor at her car and walked her into the new house. On the kitchen counter was a vase full of flowers and a blindfold. Taylor asked what the blindfold was for and Ben told her it was for her and that he had a surprise. He led her to the master bedroom where […]

September Engagement Session at Shaker Village With Two Adorable Dogs
Kasi and Cody’s engagement session was at the beautiful and historic Shaker Village in Harrodsburg, KY. They also brought along their sweet dogs which made the night so fun and eventful! As we explored the beautiful countryside we loved hearing all about their love story. Kasi and Cody were both so sweet and full of so much joy. You can truly see just how much they love each other. Kasi decided to go out to dinner one night with her friends at Rafferty’s. It was pretty late and they weren’t sure if the restaurant was about to close or not. When they arrived they realized that it was 30 minutes before they closed. Cody decided to take the table so the other server didn’t have to stay late. As Cody walked over to take their order Kasi remembers that Cody had the most gorgeous blue eyes she had ever seen. Kasi mentioned to her friends that he was cute and they all agreed. She thought for sure he had a girlfriend. Meanwhile, Cody and the other servers started talking about how the girl in pink was cute (Kasi). Cody decided that he would ask Kasi to fill in her phone […]
Stunning Outdoor Wedding Ceremony and Reception on a Family Farm in Lexington, KY
Drew and Kristen’s wedding took place on a beautiful September day at Drew’s family farm in Lexington, Kentucky. Kristen wore a beautiful blush tinted dress. The top of the dress was filled with lace and the bottom was long and flowy. The perfect dress to twirl in! Her girls were dressed in wine colored dresses and their bouquets were filled with an assortment of beautiful flowers from sunflowers to lilies. Drew and his groomsmen looked dapper in their gray suits and wine bowties and vests. Their outdoor ceremony was absolutely breathtaking! Their family and friends built them a large frame of a church made out of old barn wood decorated with a chandelier and steeple. The aisle was filled with glass jars and flowers with white French doors stood in the back making for a perfect entrance. It was the most romantic ceremony backdrop! Their reception followed in a large white tent. The tables were dressed in wine colored tablecloths and lit with old glass lanterns. Mismatched pieces of beautiful china decorated the tables. It was a magical day filled with so much laughter and love. Kristen and Drew met while Kristen was visiting a friend on spring break at Murray State. That night […]
A Character-Filled Fall Wedding | Megan + Ron
Every wedding is unique, but Megan and Ron really went above and beyond to fill their wedding day with character from beginning to end. To start, they choose a rarely used ceremony location and gave it a rustic glam vibe with a chandelier and drapery hung in a tree. It was the perfect look for a perfect fall day with the leaves in full color and the sun shining. Then the combination of smoke bombs, food trucks, a custom photo booth backdrop and glow stick exit made for a fun, laughter-filled evening. It is always so refreshing to see a bride and groom embrace who they are and showcase that in unique ways at their wedding. Gorgeous Waterfall Engagement Session at Shaker Village in Harrodsburg, Kentucky
Ben and Taylor’s engagement session was at the gorgeous Shaker Village in Harrodsburg, Kentucky. Shaker Village has the most romantic waterfall hidden back along one of their many hiking trails. Ben and Taylor both being adventurous and loving the outdoors hiked with us to this perfect magical spot. We had so much fun getting to know them and hearing their love story. Ben and Taylor are both so sweet and caring. It is so evident to see how much they love each other. Ben and Taylor had many mutual friends. Ben remembered meeting Tayor at a People’s Conference back in 2013. In May of 2016, Ben started messaging Taylor on Facebook. Taylor didn’t remember Ben at first. They started to talk back and forth occasionally. A month later Taylor decided to reach out to Ben with another message and they ended up talking on the phone for over an hour. Taylor remembers laughing and feeling so comfortable with Ben. It was almost as if they already knew each other. From that day on, they talked every day. For their first date, they went to their mutual friend’s going away party in Lousiville and went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner. It […]

Kristen and Kyle were married on a gorgeous September day in Versailles, KY. They started their day out at the romantic Charred Oaks Inn. Kristen looked stunning in her lace wedding dress. Her girls were dressed in long eggplant dresses and their bouquets were filled with roses, lisianthus, clematis and Perle Von Nurnberg succulents, and eucalyptus. Kyle and his groomsmen looked dapper in their gray suits. The groomsmen wore eggplant vests while Kyle wore a classic white vest and tie. Kyle and Kristen shared an intimate first look back behind the Charred Oaks Inn in a secluded little forest. Their ceremony soon followed at St. Leo Catholic Church. It was a special place for Kristen because it was the church she had grown up in. Following the ceremony, we went out behind the church into a field and took some romantic sunset portraits. It was the perfect way to celebrate their love and new life together. As the sun set, we headed back into the reception hall. The tables were dressed in white and eggplant tablecloths. Each table had a glittering gold table runner and a beautiful centerpiece of flowers that matched the bride and bridesmaid bouquets. These two high school sweethearts […]
Romantic Engagement Photos at Shaker Village With a Super Cute Puppy
Ryan and Madison’s engagement session was at the gorgeous Shaker Village in Harrodsburg, Kentucky. We had so much fun getting to know them and their sweet dog Mia. From the rolling countryside to the white picket fences and golden light it was a magical place to celebrate their engagement. Mia especially made it fun with her sweet and fun personality. We are so excited about their wedding next summer at the Griffin Gate Marriott in Lexington, Kentucky. Madison had recently moved to Lexington and started working at Reno’s, a local bar/restaurant. Ryan works for a local car dealership in Morehead and decided to stop by Reno’s for dinner one night after work. Madison and Ryan struck up a conversation about something they both loved to do, RzR riding. Ryan showed her a picture and told her all about the good spots she should go. Madison thinking Ryan was cute decided to follow him on Instagram. A few days later Ryan sent Madison a friend request on Facebook. Madison being busy didn’t make the connection at first until she saw Ryan again at the restaurant. Ryan decided to visit Reno’s for lunch for about two weeks every day. She accepted his friend […]

Surprise Engagement Proposal at the Arboretum in Lexington, KY (Involving Two Cute Doggies)
When Matt called us and told us about his plan to propose to his girlfriend Kiley at the Arboretum we were so excited! We met him in the parking lot of the Arboretum one evening while Kiley was at work and he told us all about his master plan. The Arboretum is one of their favorite places to go and they love taking their dogs through it. So Matt knew that it would be the perfect place to ask Kiley to marry him. He also knew that the dogs had to be a part of the special occasion. We walked all over the Arboretum discussing our best options for the surprise engagement proposal. Matt and Kiley’s first date was at the Newport Aquarium. It was a perfect place to have fun and get to know each other. Their first date was very special because it is where they realized just how open they could be with each other. After the aquarium, they watched the sunset overlooking the river. Kiley and Matt dated for two years long distance but almost never missed a weekend together. Kiley moved down to Lexington shortly after graduating from college. They finally got to start enjoying the relationship they […]
