Ginny and Art invited us out to their charming horse farm in Lexington, KY for their engagement session. We loved getting to meet all of their horses, dogs, and donkeys. They even have a wild mustang out there that they are currently training. Ever since this session, Kevin has been trying to convince me to let a donkey live in our house and backyard. It had always been a dream for Ginny to own her own horse farm and she couldn’t have picked a more beautiful place. Art is a true cowboy who has spent the majority of his life riding and training horses. We loved getting to tour their horse farm and creating these beautiful memories for them. How sweet is it that we are able to take photos with the horse that Art was riding the day that they met?

For the last several years Ginny has loved going out to Keeneland to watch the horses work out in the morning. It was one of these last minute visits that Ginny walked the rail trackside and was met by Art who was an outrider for Keeneland. He literally rode up on a white horse. They struck up a conversation right away and became pretty inseparable from that time on. For their first date, they went to Red State BBQ. For Ginny’s birthday Art planned a romantic dinner for them at Tony’s. It was during that sweet dinner that he asked her to marry him. We are so happy for them and can’t wait to celebrate their wedding day this May at Spindletop Hall. Stay tuned to see the rest of their love story unfold this summer.
