Last Monday Sarah and I ventured over to The Campbell House for a night of networking with Simply Love Studio’s preferred vendors! The Campbell House has been a preferred Studio vendor since the beginning, so we were very excited for the rest of the Studio’s preferred vendors to come out and see all the changes that have been made to this gorgeous and historic hotel. Many of you have probably visited The Campbell House at some point, but if you haven’t been recently I highly recommend a visit.
To me this hotel captures the essence of the classic and elegant charm of Lexington with its interior and I think everyone else agrees! We were all floored when Whitney Sandusky, the newest member of their team, took us on a tour of the property. I have to tell you about my favorite part! FOOD! When it comes to Kentucky traditions, The Campbell House just does it right. For appetizers, they served multiple different options (my favorite was the mini cheeseburger sliders topped with a quail egg!) The appetizers were accompanied with dessert of course, a bourbon glazed caramel cake with pecans and cranberries cooked in the room while we watched. Is your mouth watering yet?
This was the perfect location to be able to mingle with all our favorite vendors. There was plenty of space, great service and even better food. There are two ballrooms for your wedding or event to be housed in, so definitely keep it in mind when looking for a venue, plus the suites and rooms are out of this world!
