Morgan and Burt are two of the sweetest people you will ever meet. We were so honored that they chose us to capture their barn wedding on Morgan’s family farm near Paris, Kentucky. Morgan and Burt were high school sweethearts and have been together for over 7 years. Burt proposed to Morgan in the cutest way ever with her cat. You can read the full proposal on the blog we did on their engagement session and also meet their sweet fur family.
Prior to their wedding Morgan and Burt followed the southern tradition of burying a bottle of bourbon on the farm in hopes for perfect weather on their wedding day. This tradition worked like a charm and gave them a gorgeous day with the most stunning sunset. The wedding ceremony and reception took place in an old tobacco barn on Morgan’s grandparent’s farm. Surrounding the farm were large fields of tall grass and two epic silos. The setting made for a perfect rustic farm wedding. We are so excited to share some of our favorite photos from their wedding day with you. Be sure to check out the list of amazing wedding vendors who made this day possible at the bottom of the blog.Â
