Sun filled Shaker Village Engagement Session in Harrodsburg, Kentucky

Brandy & Andrew’s engagement session took place at Shaker Village in Harrodsburg, Kentucky. We had a blast exploring the historic grounds with them. Brandy & Andrew first met in line at the cafeteria during their second year at Xavier University of Louisiana. They stayed in touch after graduation and Brandy went and visited Andrew in Chicago after she finished teaching English abroad. Their first date was a double feature at a drive in movie theatre. Their proposal happened on their fifth anniversary. Andrew sent Brandy to the spa for the entire day with her favorite chocolates and a bag of dresses. Little did she know that Andrew was planning his proposal and needed her out of their condo for the day. He cleared out their living room and set up candles everywhere to set the stage for the evening. After a late dinner and drinks, Brandy walked into their condo to find a candlelit room with art covering the walls and windows. At that perfect moment Andrew asked Brandy to marry to marry him. Afterwards they shared a toast with Brandy’s sister and brother who had helped light the candles. The diamond from the engagement ring came from Andrew’s grandmother’s ring. Andrew used the band from his grandmother’s ring to make a band for himself. We are so excited about their wedding this fall at Lost River Cave in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Looking forward to more fun adventures with these two.
