Spring Engagement Session at Keeneland Racecourse

Stephanie and CJ’s spring engagement session took place at Keeneland in Lexington, Kentucky. They are both originally from New York but have lived here in Kentucky for a while now. CJ and Stephanie just recently moved back to New York but wanted to do their engagement photos in Kentucky before they left. Nothing screams Kentucky like Keeneland. Our favorite part of the session was when a super nice random guy allowed us to take some photos with a gorgeous horse. He motioned for us to com over near one of the barns and told us he had a photo prop for us. To our surprise he brought out a horse. Stephanie grew up with horses so this definitely made her day. CJ and Stephanie originally met in high school and remained friends after graduation. The real connection came during a trip that CJ took back from Kentucky to New York to visit his family. Stephanie and CJ spent a lot of time together while he was back in New York and the rest is history. After 6 months Stephanie decided to move to Kentucky so that she could be closer to CJ. One weekend CJ planned a romantic getaway to Gatlinburg, Tennessee. On the balcony of a private cabin overlooking the Smokey Mountains, he got down on one knee and popped the question. Of course the answer was Yes! To put icing on the cake CJ took Stephanie to see the Christmas Show at the Dixie Stampede, which was something that she had always wanted to do.
