Liz and Neal’s spring engagement session took place at Ashland, The Henry Clay Estate in Lexington, Kentucky. They used to go there all the time when they lived nearby. Their super cute puppy Jeffery came along to join in on the fun. Neal and Liz first met at a house party put on by mutual friends. They have been virtually inseparable ever since that night 8 years ago. Their first date was only two days after they met at the Nagasaki Hibachi. That restaurant turned out to be one of their favorite spots and they ate there almost every week during the first year that they were together. The night that Neal proposed was on December 8, 2014. He asked Liz if she wanted to go ice skating in downtown Lexington, KY. Little did she know what was going to happen next. Here is the rest of the story from Liz’s perspective: “We start skating and every few minutes he would stop over at the side and just grab my hands and just say how much he loved me. Finally after about 30 minutes of skating and stopping he finally got the nerve up to propose. He said “do you know how much I love you?” I said “well I think so”. He then pulled out the ring and said “well what about now? I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Will you marry me?” Of course I said yes! After 7 years together it had finally happened, and I was totally surprised!” Liz and Neal we are so happy for you two and can’t wait for your wedding in September at The Barn at Springhouse Gardens in Nicholasville, Kentucky.
