Our final week of fall Vacation Bridal School flew by! I’ve enjoyed getting to know these wonderful couples these past five weeks. What will I do with my Wednesday nights now?! No Netflix show compares to this!
Danelle from Danelle Alexis Photography told couples about the importance wedding albums. Wedding albums come in all different sizes and are a great way to show your big day to friends and family. Some couples put their photos on jump drive and plan to print them later. If you are anything like me…. that tiny jump drive could easily get lost and then your pictures are lost forever. Having a wedding album is a great way to cherish the memories of your big day!
Dana Branhamn from Lasting Legacy, was sporting a bright green maxi skirt. She says every time she public speaks she wears green! Dana is a financial advisor that taught our couples all about money, marriage, and making it work! She reminded couples how important it is to determine split of expenses and how to set monthly budgets. She explained the importance of sharing all information with your partner. It is better to know everything upfront and plan together.
Jackie from Twisted Papertini brought a ton of fun stuff for our couples to check out! A new item that Twisted Papertini offers is unisex fishing shirts for bridesmaid and groomsmen gifts. Jackie handed out goodie bags with small gifts that gave our brides more great ideas for bridesmaids gifts. My favorite part of the goodie bags were the Tyler Candles. Studying in my room seems a little bit more enjoyable now that it smells like “bougue parfumme”. Thanks Jackie! 🙂
Our very last vendor was Doug Smith Design + Events. Owners, Doug Smith and Glenn Blind brought their vision of the wedding world to us this week! We were lucky enough to have an entire set up of what a typical ceremony could look like. They showed us a variety of floral arrangements for aisle accessories along with some tips for reception tables. Doug Smith Design + Events offer two different services, starting with wedding flowers, bouquets, and decor ideas. They also offer wedding coordinating services to make your wedding simply perfect and worry free! Doug mentioned how they offer a full coordinating package or “day of” service. The day of service starts 30 days out from your big day. They take the time to learn about your wedding and take care of the small details so you are able to be a guest at your own party! Glenn said it the best, “all you have to do is wake up that day and we will lead you in the right direction”.
We ended our final week with the big announcement of our winner of Wes Brown Photography FREE engagement session. Our winner was Alison! Alison has attended all five weeks of VBS and is very excited to work with Wes!
Although Vacation Bridal School is over, Sarah and I have some exciting things to look forward to in these next few weeks. I can’t wait for our upcoming vendor networking event at Gold Shield Transportation!
