Week 4 was filled with all kinds of Simply Lovely things!
Willie Wilson Photography kicked off week 4 with telling couples all about the first look. Here are some reasons why couples are doing the first look rather than waiting till the ceremony.
- This is when hair and makeup will look the best.
- (Typically) there is better scenery lighting.
- Gives couples alone time before the big ceremony.
- Avoids making guests wait. Having this time will allow more pictures in different areas.
One of my favorite pictures hanging in the studio is a wedding that Willie Wilson Photography did at Keeneland!
Kelsey from Belle Boutique started off by giving our brides some free samples! She provides all services for your wedding experience. From hair cuts for engagement sessions to airbrush tanning for your big day, Kelsey is the best! Multiple brides were lined up to book Belle Boutique for their wedding day!
Billy Wedgworth from Tap Snap Phototainment showed us all about the state-of-the-art Phototainment experience! This is a combination of an interactive photo booth, social media platform, guestbook, modern computer software, and a green-screen all together. Billy’s services are a great way to entertain your wedding guests! He brought (and modeled) some of his fun accessories he provides. My favorite part about the phototainment is how as soon as the photo is snapped it takes 30-40 seconds to upload directly to the Facebook page. How convenient!
Dinner wise, this week was my favorite! City Barbeque provided every single meat and sauce they offer, along with 4 different sides and desert! They also told our couples all about what kind of services and packages they offer for wedding festivities. They do everything from bachelor parties to receptions!
Fields in Bloom educated our couples on what type of flowers to order for their big day! Not only is picking the right type of flower challenging but picking the right color scheme is another thing to worry about. They showed our brides so many different options and helped lead them in the right direction. Towards the end, they displayed the proper way to hold a bouquet and gave away a beautiful bouquet to one of our lucky brides!
Sam from Purdon’s Rentals taught our couples all about the services they offer. Our couples had a variety of questions regarding rentals. From small details like how many tablecloths they need to bigger details such as what kind of chairs will be at the ceremony. Sam knows it all! I found it very interesting that Purdon’s Rentals has no minimum order, you may place an order as small as one table cloth.
Sarah & Doug Smith testing out Tap Snap Phototainment! We’ll be hearing from Doug Smith Events + Design next week! Can’t wait!
