How could I have forgotten to have blogged about our awesome vendor networking meetings we’ve had in 2014? It must mean we’ve been super busy the past few months with events and meetings, but never fear, here are some quick pictures from our vendor networking meetings lately. We love when our vendors get together and brain storm and come up with awesome new ideas for Lexington Brides!
Our January event was at Type A Catering‘s consultation Studio in Nicholasville. It’s as cute as the pictures make it look. It’s a warm and cozy place to plan your wedding day meal. Diane and Lauri made a great meal for the vendors. We had tomato basil soup and a make your own panini station. Lauri made it all, even down to the garlic butter we used for the paninis!
For February we headed to Georgetown to Photo Booth Kentucky‘s home. Melissa and Michael Cook also own and run Cook Designer Portraits and have a beautiful Studio space in Georgetown. I knew it would be nice because they’re super fun people, but I have never seen anything like their Studio. Here’s a quick video about their space. If you’re looking for senior pictures or family portraits definitely give them a call too!
Lastly, we met at Courtyard By Marriott Lexington Keeneland/Airport this past week. They made a delicious lunch for vendors in their Bistro. I’m not saying it was delicious just to be saying it, it really was! Caesar salad, soup, sandwiches and dessert! Lyndsey gave our vendors a quick tour of their rooms that are perfect for bridal suites for the bridal party to get dressed in, perfect rooms for your out of town guests and lastly they have the perfect room for rehearsal dinners and bridal showers. It seats up to 60 people, has all of the technology you need. You can use their food from the Bistro or you can bring your own food in. The room rate is very affordable, $150 for a half day or $300 for a full day. These room could even be used for the bridal party to get dressed in to. Lost of options!
