It’s hard to believe Venue Hop has come and gone. The weather was absolutely perfect day for Brides to see venues. They started out the day at the Marriott Griffin Gate, greeted by Courtney & Jenna. They got to try some scrumptious appetizers and tour their different properties.
Brides loaded into the limos that were provided by Gold Shield Limo and headed off to the Carrick House. Katherine & Laura greeted the Brides at the Carrick House with some drinks and food and left them with a delicious lunch surprise for when they returned to their limo.
From the Carrick House Brides traveled to the Hilton Downtown Lexington. Summer and her team greeted them and walked them through their different options for rooms for guests, bridal party, honeymoon suite, etc. After their quick tour of rooms they were introduced to the Magnolia Room which is located on the first floor at the Hilton.

After Brides got to see the Magnolia Room they headed up to the ballroom where they met more SLS vendors. Brides got to hear from Reel Special Productions, Honey Heart Photography, Something Sweet Candy Buffet, Tinker’s Cake Shop, Fresh Beats, Purdon Rental and sample some food provided by the Hilton.

After enjoying their time there they headed to the Ashley Inn located in Lancaster, which is perfect for an outdoor ceremony. Brides were greeted there with treats from Gourmet Goodies by Thelma and got to hear from Dei Gratia Photography.
After seeing what the Ashley Inn had to offer, Brides traveled to the Crowne Plaza to see their options and got to enjoy a chair massage from Alure Salon & Day Spa as well as hear from Bliss Honeymoons and Affordable Invitations.
Brides finished up their day at the Headley-Whitney Museum. Not going to lie, a bit jealous I didn’t get to try some of South Van Catering’s mini hot browns that he had that day. Also while at the Headley, Brides got to see Always Planned and Nina Mullins Photography.
The Venue Hop always has rave reviews from Brides and it’s the perfect day to see just what Lexington as to offer. We will have our Fall date posted soon and we look forward to seeing you then!
