So the kid in me fell in love with these save-the-dates. It will definitely be something that your guests have never seen before. We all had the spy books and kits when we were little that needed a decoder to read the message that was written in your book and these save-the-dates have that same concept. The information for you wedding is written in blue ink and then there is red squigglies all on top of it. You send a red lense in the envelope and with that lense your guests can decode what your save-the-date says. The best thing is that you can do them yourselves. Follow this link and learn how!!

About 2 months ago, I got a call from Devan. She had been at one of the weddings we had shot this summer, and wanted to know if we could take some pictures for her. She told me that she and Ryan were going to elope in Vegas, and they wanted some pictures of them in all their wedding day attire a couple of weeks later. So yesterday, we drove up to La Grange, KY and took lots of fun and beautiful shots. Needless to say, they braved high grass, hay bales, and even a canoe out on a pond. They were up for anything! It’s so nice to have this kind of time with a couple, because their is no time factor to worry about. It is just the two of them, a couple of hours, and the two of us (Wes and I), shooting our hearts out. Congratulations, Devan and Ryan! We had a blast!

I am SO excited to share these precious pictures with all of you!  I have known Julie for several years now, and she is one of the sweetest, giving people I know, AND she is an AMAZING cook!  Last year she had mentioned Matt, and none of us knew where this relationship might go.  Well, Julie and Matt recently got engaged, and are getting married December 18th!  Unfortunately, we won’t be able to be there on their wedding day, but I was so happy that we got to do their engagement pictures!  These two are both big math nerds (yes, TWO PhD’s in the house!), and it would seem that the math world brought them together….but we all know it was more than that.    We are just so happy for you both, and wish you the best in a marriage full of numbers and love!
