Jennifer and I met several years ago in high school, and of the few people that I actually keep in touch with from then, I am so glad she is one of them! She has been a blessing in my life in so many ways. Naturally, I was thrilled when she asked us to share in her wedding day in such an important way. She and Curt had a gorgeous ceremony at Walnut Street Baptist Church. The couple opted to see each other before the ceremony, and I could tell it was such a special moment for them. Curt waited for Jennifer as he held her beautiful bouquet of flowers in his hand, and they both beamed with joy and love as she walked towards him. We left them to have a few quiet moments together before continuing on with portraits of the soon-to-be-married couple and their bridal party. Enjoy a few of our favorites from the first part of the day, and stay tuned for more to come soon!

On Saturday, September 4th, Dana & Lane tied the knot.  And for the first time since the beginning of May, we celebrated a wedding day that did not involve 90+ temperatures.  It was SO nice!  A perfect 75 degrees.  I know Dana from our days back at Asbury College (now Asbury University!).   This meant that most of her bridesmaids had familiar faces to me, and also a good group of guests were Asbury Alumni.  Kind of felt like a mini reunion.  Wes and I had such a great time working with these two, and the entire wedding party.  Every one had a great attitude and just had fun.  There is nothing better than when the whole crew just have a good time throughout the photographing session.  It makes for such a wonderful and relaxing experience.  Dana was absolutely gorgeous, and I can’t get over that amazing veil she wore!  And as you will see below, Lane just might be a slight UK Basketball fanatic, but who can blame him?  Those Wildcats rock!  Congratulations, Dana & Lane!
SS_0001 SS_0002 SS_0003 I think there should be more mohawks at weddings. SS_0005 SS_0006 SS_0007 SS_0008 SS_0009 First steps to the First Look. SS_0011 SS_0012 SS_0013 SS_0014 Yup. Oh, and a good, bride-and-all-the-bridesmaids-with-mustaches, shot. I heart this one. Wes caught this one beautifully. SS_0036 So fun! And check out those toned arms! This bride is cut!
