Erin and Brian were married at St. Francis of Assisi on Bardstown Road… a truly beautiful church with incredible light shining through their gorgeous stained glass windows. After the ceremony and a few portraits outside of this fantastic place, we loaded up all 22 bridesmaids and groomsmen with the bride and groom on a trolley that took us around town before heading to the reception. We stopped first at the ever popular St. James Court for a few bride and groom portraits, and then headed to Main Street in Downtown Louisville for some fun with the whole group.

Enjoy a few favorites!

I LOVE the look on Brian’s face as Erin walks down the aisle…

Shooting downtown and Keeneland is a pretty popular combo when it comes to engagements.  There’s a nice contrast between the two, and both places have a ton of variety.  I can get bored pretty quickly, so its a must for me that each session has something fresh, you know?

I’m really happy with how this session turned out.  Lauren and Jay were super-easy to work with.  They just had fun and trusted me to do my thing.    It definitely doesn’t hurt that they’re both really good-looking folks!

To Lauren and Jay—thanks for being cool to work with!  I’m looking forward to the wedding!

Here are a handful of my favorites from the shoot:

Thanks to my assistant Candi for rocking the reflector on this shot.  Love that warm light.

My favorite.
