Every now and then, a session is absolutely perfect: the location, the lighting, the people…. every aspect. And when that happens, it’s nearly impossible for me to actually narrow down the images to just a few favorites, because I love every single one of them! We’ve been blessed with several sessions like that recently, and this one with Lisa and Dries was INCREDIBLE. But I think the best part about it was just the purely fabulous time we had getting to know these two! They live in Chicago, so we are so glad they had the chance to come to Louisville for an engagement session! We cannot wait for their Louisville ceremony and Chicago reception this fall… I’m sure both will be fantastic!

Lisa and Dries– It was so great to meet you!! You two are awesome, and we are so excited to see you again in just a few months!!

Enjoy a few (okay… a LOT) of our favorites from the day!

Lisa thought it’d be fun for the two of them to make this face in front of the animal hospital…. Dries doesn’t look like he agreed… :)

And a few of Eric’s beautiful film photos:

Real Wedding: Stacy & Daniel

Posted by: Lauren Chitwood Events

Stacy & Daniel married June 13, 2010 at Whitehall House & Gardens, which shall be recorded as the hottest wedding day of the year!  Our entire team had such a great time working with this couple. For their design concept we wanted to keep things very “Victorian Garden”, you’ll notice their arrangements overflowing with hydrangea, roses, lisianthus and tulips in the most lovely wrought iron urns and candelabras.  For their ceremony we installed the MOST BEAUTIFUL antique garage gates to frame the Stacy & Daniel as they said “I Do.”  For comfort, there were fan’s everywhere, and cold drinks as guests entered the ceremony.

Ladyfingers catering put on the delicious spread, and you know our team took care of all the event management, design and floral design.

You’ll also notice the sweetest (and to die for delicious) wedding cake by Mert’s Cakes. Bridal beautification came from the always fabulous Ana Crane Simpson, and the entire day was captured by the amazing team with Amy Shepherd Photography.

PS- I know this is a massive blog post.. but I don’t care.. just too many good images ton not put them all in one!
